You can still participate in the Walk for Hunger by registering in person at the walk this Saturday at Burke Lakefront Airport beginning at 8:45 a.m.

The 20th Annual The Plain Dealer Walk for Hunger is Saturday, May 10, 2008! The Walk begins at Burke Lakefront Aiport in Downtown Cleveland, Late Registration opens at 8:45 a.m. and Kick Off festivities begin at 9:30 a.m. If you have any questions regarding information about the walk, please contact 216-619-8155, ext. 18.
Summer months put children at a great risk of hunger because school meal programs are not available to them.
Every year, funds raised at the Walk for Hunger make a significant impact on these children and their families because the Hunger Network is able to provide a full day's worth of meals with just one dollar.
